We can all sit at the beach by a bonfire and watch the world go by - wouldn't that be nice.
Toby doesn't chase seagulls @Faith-and-Hope but he does sit at the fence and bark at the birds - the birds don't seem to be phased by him which I think he finds a little confusing.

While everyone gathers around the bonfire - sipping hot chocolate and roasting marshmallows and cooking sausages - I'm going to sit over by the rocks (still looking out over the ocean just in case @Phoenix_Rising needs to know someone is there) and I'm going to write exactly how I am feeling. Do not read the next post if you think it may trigger you or upset you in any way...

Don't worry my friend. Rest your weary mind. You are still here and that's what matters now my friend. Your mind can't see a way out at the moment because it is overwhelmed and tired. Don't even try. Don't even think about it. Just breathe and be.
I love distraction when I feel like that. Either talking to someone and having a good cry or even better - curling up on the couch with my cat and watching "a feel good movie that will take me to another place other than in mind for the present". It gives me a few hours of reprieve. Your mind needs a break. Maybe try the latter or something else that takes your mind somewhere else. I hope you sleep better tonight my friend. Walking with you in the dark ❤️xxx
