I'm keeping my head above water- just 😔 @BlueBay. I really can see improvements generally in my mood and the way I am thinking about 'stuff' but the intensity of the flashbacks and triggers when they happen seems to hit me really hard by emotionally and physically It may be that this intensity hasn't actually increased in these times but it just feels that way because I am having more extended times of calm and feeling 'ok'.
I am struggling a bit but also trying to not fight the feelings too hard as that really does add to my anxiety and leads me further down into the darkness.
It's the unexpected moments of light (like hearing from you today) that I am trying to hold onto more - and that can only be a positive step forward despite how I feel in the moment. I really hope you are finding more light in your days and can see a brighter future for yourself.

Hi @Zoe7, so glad to hear there are some positive things happening with how you are dealing with things at present. How we deal with things makes a huge difference. It sounds wise not to 'fight' with the bad experiences. I get how that can make us feel more anxious. Wonderful to know you are having some calmer moments in between at least. Sending love and hugs to you and others here in The Octagonal Room.
