Time to See - Proudly Supporting beyondblue
"Man never made any material as resilient as the human spirit'
In partnership with beyondblue and UTS, Time to See is a one-night-only exhibition showcasing artwork, photography and art therapy submitted by local Sydney talent and the community. Embedding the theme of 'hope and resilience', our exhibition aims to raise awareness about anxiety and depression and to express the therapeutic nature that various art forms can provide to individuals.
Our artworks comprise of various artists Including the works of Taiyo Masuda, Kirsty Neilson and Mulga The Artist, and all pieces will be on sale at the event with all proceeds going toward beyondblue. Additionally, we are honored to announce that we will be having the director of Sydney Center for Creative Change,Jacki Short, at our event who will give a speech about art therapy and how it aids with handling anxiety and depression, as well as Marc Levingston who will share his journey and experiences of hope, recovery and resilience in the face of depression. Our event is at 1 Woodburn st, Redfern, NSW 2016 on Friday, the 7th of October from 5.30p.m - 10p.m. So come down, enjoy a drink, free food and good tunes while supporting beyondblue and Mental Health Week Australia! - Doors open from 5.30p.m
- Canapés will be served from the start of the event until the speeches begin
- Artwork for sale will be marked with a sticker and a price. Please approach our event staff to enquire about purchasing the artwork
