I didn't end up going back to sleep this morning after WH woke me up at 5am, banging around with stuff in the kitchen ..... I
ironic cos I went to bed late, so slept on the couch so as to not disturb him ..... but I am feeling okay in the moment ..... so heading out "far and away" with my headphones on and a river to coffee shop walk .....

I hope you have a lovely day at the zoo .... ours is full of trees - called a zoological garden cos the founder planted a wide variety of palm trees as a form of seed bank, back in the day .... apparently a horticulturalist with an interest in the animals as well.

I remember visiting the zoo as a child, and you could feed the elephant through columns that bordered the huge concrete pad that was considered home to her ..... she used to wak up and down, uo and down, just swinging her trunk slowly and rocking ..... she must have felt like she was in prison. Now the zoo is a true garden paradise with natural habitat enclosures for the animals, and this same elephant is taken for walks twice a day all around the zoo pathways, meandering in her own time, and stopping to look at things and touch them with her trunk ..... 🤗💕 .... so pleased for her now .....
