Re: Morning Check-in

Hello @Till23, it's giving us a chance to know that we aren't alone even when we can't communicate with each other. Also having that grounding exercise there to remind ourselves of it if we wake up struggling.

So yes it's helpful and it's nice to be able to check in with each other in the mornings.

How are you going?

Re: Morning Check-in

@rav3n

Not all of them, I made it slightly earlier last night too see how far back it happens

So 5 minutes before the first night

And around 10 minutes before last night

My plan is to keep incrementally going back to see at what point they stop disappearing before morning.

I think they still exist and that's why we have the phantom page, because it's accounting for the missing posts

Re: Morning Check-in

that's good for us to know @Till23 thanks for sharing. @Dreamy also mentioned that the support button mainly plays up in the morning, and that once they get off the browser and sign back into their account, it seems to work okay again.

my theory is that the recent support button issue is probably linked with our overnight changes... i have a feeling it'll go back to normal once the 2 weeks are up. i do get that 2 weeks of lil glitches and other posting issues can be hard too, so pls do keep letting us know (and we'll keep sending feedback to the tech team) - fingers crossed things get resolved soon.

how's your day going? @Till23

Re: Morning Check-in

@avant-garde i've told them the tech team your theory around the phantom page too, seems like a possibility for sure.

haha i love the investigation mode - thank you so much for doing that! when you post between 12am-6pm, are the popping up? or are they disappearing too?

Re: Morning Check-in

@Till23

I have a slight headache but doing ok

I like having this place to come to, that we have a place to come to when we're lonely or struggling.

For me, it's more that I post in the early hours of the morning rather than me waking up during the night.

The missing posts are getting to me but I enjoy having a problem to solve.

I have an audio book I'm listening to which I'm enjoying and it's helping me settle in the evening/morning.

The book doesn't reply though.

Re: Morning Check-in

@rav3n

I got an email that time!!

I posted the plushie picture to check that too at 12:30ish AEST and that turned up no problems.

Re: Morning Check-in

@avant-garde hmm interesting, so the main issue seems to be before midnight at the moment.

yay!!! i got emails just now too!!!

Re: Morning Check-in

Ok so I could support your post @Dreamy @rav3n no problem. But you posted it in the day and it's the afternoon when I did it. I have email notifications turned off, so never get those. There is currently a phantom page 9 for me for this thread

It's good that you feel it's helping and got planning to come up with something to try and alleviate any struggles @Dreamy @avant-garde .

I am one foot in front of the other, but overall pretty ok. It's a sunny day here so that is helping and my washing is drying on the line and I have cut and stacked some kindling for the fire, done some minor chores and am doing some life admin - I moved my laptop to my verandah in the sun for that, but will have to stop shortly when the sun starts getting into my eyes. Some of my activities are on holidays and I am planning next semester/term activities. I'm thinking of trying for Australian Masters Games for my sport.

Re: Morning Check-in

@Till23 yeah the phantom page comes up after some posts seem to disappear for an unknown reason.

A sunny day sounds nice, it's cold and wet here today. You have had a very productive day so far, well done. Glad you are enjoying the sunshine at least until it starts getting in your eyes. Trying for Australian masters games sounds exciting and like a great opportunity 😊

Re: Morning Check-in

Thanks @Dreamy I did the Australian Masters Games for my sport in 2023 in between my second cancer surgery and I started radiotherapy the day I got back from Masters. Our team won a bronze medal.

However, I have failed one of my Weekly Intentions 2 days out of 3 so far! However, I do launch myself in to stuff once I'm up pretty well. It's likely guilt driven, but I feel good when I get stuff done.

Are you able to do things in the sun at your place, when the sun makes an appearance?
