Want to forget TW

Re: Want to forget TW

The miniature lamp posts sounds like a great idea @Zoe7 - I'd love to see a photo when you have it complete if you don't mind (no pressure if you don't want to).

As for the path - well done. Cutting angles, all the labour and hard work - what an amazing achievement. I can imagine whenever you walk the path / look at it you would feel a sense of pride that you did it! I'm sure you will be glad when it's complete and you can tick that of your list.

The way you describe Toby and Clover is so heart warming - I feel like it would be a reciprocal, mutual admiration society between you and your fur babies. I'm sure they adore you the way your adore them.

How's it going being back at work? I'm sure your babies miss you but it must be quite the homecoming when you get home!

Re: Want to forget TW

Hi @Zoe7 @Owlunar,

How's all with you both today? I hope your Friday is being kind to you.

It sounds like yesterday was a long day for you @Zoe7, your parents, and your sister. I hope your mum and dad are recovering well and you are able to have an easier day today. At least you have the weekend coming up - hope it is a nice, relaxing one for you .

I hope you are also doing well @Owlunar and the weekend is a nice one for you.

All okay with me thanks - I have two pugs laying literally on my feet because apparently it's important to sit as close to your human as possible lol! 💕

Re: Want to forget TW

When the lamp posts arrive I will take a photo of the treehouse to post for you @FloatingFeather Once you have seen it I will edit it out though.

Mum and Dad are doing okay. All signs point to no further issues but we are still waiting on some test results - of course it is a concern at their age but hopeful they are okay.

I love coming home to Tobes jumping up and down the hallway - his smiley face and greeting are priceless. Clover comes for cuddles once she has been allowed to go outside but Toby follows me everywhere from the time I get home.

Super tired today - fell asleep on the couch last night and stayed there. I was not very well so it was an up and down night for me so the couch was a good place to be. Almost fell asleep at my psych appointment this morning - which pretty much sums up how tired I am. I honestly thought I had recovered but the tiredness is hanging around 😔

Re: Want to forget TW

Hi @Zoe7

That's very kind of you to share a pic with the street posts but I totally understand if you don't want to post a picture on here - that's no problem if you don't want to.

I'm glad to read your parents are doing okay and all signs so far are good results. Hopefully any other results they are waiting on will come through very soon and will be good news.

When you describe Toby and Clover - their behaviours and their reactions I almost feel like I know them in a way. They both sound so very adorable and unique in their own way. I don't know why but I kind of imagine them a bit like Garfield and Odie - I'm probably way of track and their probably nothing like them at all!

Do you think your tiredness may stem from pushing yourself too much and having too much going on? I hope you are feeling a bit better since you wrote this post and you are getting a good amount of rest and are taking things easy (easier said then done sometimes I know).

FloatingFeather ❤️

Re: Want to forget TW

I don't know whether my fatigue is due to COVID or a re-occurrence of chronic fatigue @FloatingFeather (or something else). It is not the usual exhaustion from doing too much - it is an ongoing and relentless fatigue with ongoing aches. This is how I felt for over a year with chronic fatigue so it is a concern. I slept most of the weekend - nearly fell asleep in my psych appointment - and everything aches. I am waiting to see if I can get into my GP earlier than my next appointment but the cancellation list is long.

As always, Toby and Clover are my saviours ...and yes they are a bit like Garfield and Odie LOL

Got to head to bed - can barely type tonight as even my fingers are sore 😥

Re: Want to forget TW

Please take care @Zoe7 that sounds really awful. I hope you can get some rest 💝

Re: Want to forget TW

Your fatigue sounds pretty challenging @Zoe7. I hope you and your GP can get to the bottom of what is causing this and find a solution. I would imagine feeling like this regularly would be pretty debilitating. It's a shame that GPs seem to be really hard to get into these days, I have heard this from a few people. Often there are times we can't wait for cancellations and we need to see a doctor asap. Hopefully an appointment comes up soon for you.

Hope you were able to get a restful sleep and you are feeling a bit better today.

Re: Want to forget TW

Thanks @Paperdaisy @FloatingFeather Still very tired and achy so taking each day as it comes.

Re: Want to forget TW

Hope you are able to have a good rest this weekend @Zoe7 and the aches have started to ease up for you.

Re: Want to forget TW

Hey @FloatingFeather I have unfortunately got another tooth ache (which should read - absolutely horrible pain 😥). It seems to be the same tooth that broke a couple of months ago so it either was not repaired properly or the issue was deeper than we thought. I was surprised at the time that the dentist said he could repair it but I think this time it will need to come out. I do not care at the moment because being pain free is preferable than keeping the tooth. It of course means doing anything is near impossible when the pain hits. Fortunately it comes and goes but pain killers do very little. Adding to the continuing fatigue and aches - life is a bit hard but my beautiful kids and fur babies keep me going.

On a nicer note - one of our new teacher aides came up to me the other day and commented that every time she has seen me that I seem so positive, happy and caring to the kids so that was a really nice moment.
