SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

Hi All - sorry about your brother @Former-Member ... I'm glad he has a good partner to look after him. I had a reasonably productive day - took a rug out of one room, gave it a good clean and put it in another room, three bags of stuff to go up in the attic, did some pruning in the front yard (daylight savings is a bonus), made a batch of carrot juice with the ancient juice extractor which had been forgotten about in the back of the kitchen cupboard for years. Back is now totally stuffed so worshipping the god of voltaren. @Adge - I've had the rat in the wall problem too. I put some bait in the roof but then whatever it was decided to die up there so I had an unpleasant stink for a few weeks - so much for them going away to die. This one croaked it up there out of spite I'm sure. Hope everyone has a good week.

Rats in the wall is not fun. I have a very keen sense of smell, so if one dies in there I'm sure I will smell it...

Not good re your back feeling "totally stuffed" - happens to me too when I overdo it. Hope it settles with rest & v & you sleep well tonight. 💜💜

Hi @Former-Member  yep, clear beds, benches, tables & floors sure make a home look tidy. Good job on the magazines. I have a pile high 😶. Its just all to much here atm 😧

Did clear away the weeds from the grape vine which i thought died, and had pruned back to the stump, so very pleased to see it coming back.☺

I can't do this 😖 why can't I do this.

With my "spring clean, fix & decluttering my house" (currently on the market 4sale this last 2months). The Real Estate agent dropped in on her way home from work today to 'have a talk' She said we should have had an offer from the viewings & politely suggested I get more serious about decluttering! 😞 Especially in my bedroom. She suggested I at least clear off my bed, get rid of some clothes & just have a bed and dresser in there 😱 😨😵😨😱 I hate conformity! 😥 But there you go - I've been told - boohoo - such is life 😭 Have to somehow require more of myself 😞 Wjy can't i just chuck things 😤this has to be an MI, i might have to go back to my psychologist about this 😖 oh, its Christmas 😟

Think a few are finding it all a bit too hard at the moment @Former-Member.

If I can deal with a couple of things a day I am satisfied (even if it is only 2 bits of paper).

Can you put some clothes neatly into carry bags @Former-Member, and when people are being shown through, place them into the boot of your car ?

The criteria is having the space tidy enough. It's up to you how many clothes you have and where you choose to keep them.

grief and loneliness mostly hurt
but broken kin hurt the worst
